From first contact to port delivery, we manage every stage with defined procedures and constant communication.
Our operational process is designed to reduce uncertainty in every steel import. From first contact to port delivery, Tradestahl manages every stage with defined procedures, technical control points and constant communication with the client. Below is the standard flow of an operation:
|
01 Initial Consultation
The client contacts us with their requirements: steel type, standard, dimensions, estimated quantity, destination port and required delivery date. We respond within a maximum of 24 business hours with an acknowledgment of receipt and an initial feasibility analysis. |
02 Requirement Analysis
Our technical-commercial team reviews the client's specifications, and based on it, identifies equivalent steel grades and will recommend the most suitable supply sources. If viable and more competitive technical alternatives exist, we present them with proper justification. |
03 Sourcing and Negotiation
We contact qualified manufacturers in our global network, evaluate technical proposals, and negotiate contractual terms. |
|
04 Logistics Management
We book the space with the shipping line, arrange ocean freight and cargo insurance, coordinate with the customs broker at the destination, and consolidate and deliver the documentation package. |
05 Inspection and Certification
Before shipment, our surveyors verify that the product meets the contracted specifications: dimensions, weight, marking, surface condition, heat (cast) certificates and laboratory tests when applicable. The inspection report is part of the shipment's documentary file. |
06 Delivery and Follow-up
We coordinate with the local customs agent to expedite clearance and delivery to the client's warehouse or plant. We carry out post-delivery follow-up to confirm conformity of the material received. We will manage any non-conformity directly with the manufacturer. |
The commercial strength of Tradestahl lies not only in its track record, but in the depth and quality of its global network of manufacturers and strategic allies. For more than three decades we have built direct relationships with mills, processing plants and specialized distributors in the world's main steel production centers. This network allows us to access certified product, with heat traceability, without depending on additional intermediaries that raise the cost of the operation or dilute technical traceability.
"Our global network is not just a directory of suppliers. It is the result of relationships built on technical compliance, commercial transparency and working together operation after operation. When a client trusts Tradestahl, they gain access to decades of proven relationships with the world's best manufacturers."
